The company focuses on premium pool cleaning robots and is committed to independent research and development, holding over 160 patents, including 65 invention patents. Xingmai’s products emphasize efficient, intelligent pool cleaning. Through technological innovation, the company quickly made a name for itself in international markets, particularly in North America’s high-end market, achieving significant sales with revenue reaching hundreds of millions within six months.

When we first discussed media PR services with Xingmai, the product’s name, Beatbot, was not yet finalized, and the media strategy was set six months before the official launch. However, by the time all details were confirmed, winter was approaching. Beatbot’s PR strategy faced a dual challenge: on one hand, as a new brand, Beatbot lacked recognition among both the media and consumers, making it difficult to break into mainstream media coverage; on the other hand, with the onset of winter, consumer interest in pool robot news had significantly declined. Many media editors also noted they couldn’t schedule product reviews due to low demand and the time-consuming nature of hardware trials. In these less-than-ideal conditions, helping Beatbot gain its first wave of recognition in the overseas market became a key challenge.

We initially shifted our focus from product reviews to news coverage and product list collaborations. Through in-depth discussions with media editors, we highlighted Beatbot’s innovation and market value, securing more list recommendations. We also persuaded various media outlets to provide customized content—such as brand stories and product features—to attract wider attention. To boost exposure, we developed a long-term strategy during the winter off-season, collaborating with mainstream and tech media for continuous coverage and growing brand awareness in North America. By November 2024, we had secured over 65 articles in 15+ major North American media outlets, greatly enhancing Beatbot’s brand presence. This flexible media strategy helped Beatbot overcome seasonal promotion challenges and laid a strong foundation for future growth.
